Boards and Commissions Application

Boards and Commissions

Thank you for your interest in serving as an appointee of Governor Andy Beshear on one of the Commonwealth of Kentucky's Boards and Commissions. Service as a gubernatorial appointee is an honor the Governor can bestow upon citizens of the Commonwealth. More importantly, it requires that appointees have the necessary background for such an appointment and the commitment to perform the duties of the individual board or commission, some of which may be extensive.

The applications include questions regarding political affiliation, race, gender, and geographic location. This information is necessary to satisfy the specific membership requirements established by the Kentucky General Assembly to provide for equitable and balanced gubernatorial appointments.

If you are willing to offer your time and talents in service to the Commonwealth, please complete and submit the appropriate application form and upload a current resume.

In considering your application, the Office of the Governor may ask you to provide more information, such as if the appointment requires Senate confirmation. Please note that when applying for one of the Community and Technical Colleges and/or state University Boards a conflict of interest form is included and a resume is required along with a brief description on why you are interested in serving.
